Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

I’ve been a teacher for over 20 years and have taught in N.Z, Australia and the U.K. Over 14 of those amazing years have been as a classroom teacher and reliever at C.P.D.S.  I am an ex-CPDS pupil myself and have a lot of aroha and pride for the school. Yes, I too performed on stage in the Jack Oliver Hall, marched at graduation carrying the Chinese flag, put something in the time capsule buried on the school grounds and went to many CPDS Fairs. I have a plethora of unforgettable and happy memories from my time as a student and am still good friends with a few of my classmates. It’s a privilege to now be a teacher here, as new, happy memories are created each day. I am also very passionate about Science. Before I trained to be a teacher I gained a degree in Science and most recently I studied and obtained a diploma in Health Science. I enjoy sharing this passion for learning with children and am excited to be working at CPDS with your family.
