I was born in China, and my family immigrated to New Zealand 21 years ago. My husband, Franklin, and I have two daughters: Sophie, a young doctor working at Auckland Hospital, and Alice, a high school student at Epsom Girls Grammar School (EGGS). Our family shares a passion for music, and we love travelling, exploring good food, and watching movies together.
I taught at Pukekohe Hill School as a junior school teacher for 18 years, from 2005 until April 2023. After moving into the city, I worked at ACG Parnell Primary School as a new entrant teacher for half a year. I joined CPDS last year and feel privileged to work with such an amazing team of excellent educators.
Teaching young children has always been my passion, and I am proud to make a positive difference in young minds.
