Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

Kia ora and Halo Semuanya,

I was born in Indonesia and am half Indonesian and half British. My family and culture are very important to me. I am a bilingual Bahasa Indonesia and English speaker. I spent my life moving between countries in Southeast Asia before immigrating to New Zealand in 2018. I came to CPDS as a student teacher and grew an appreciation for their multicultural community. Continuing my teaching journey at CPDS has been a blessing. I am grateful for everything I have learned at CPDS and look forward to the learnings that each day brings.

Some of my favourite hobbies include painting, arts and crafts, reading, listening to podcasts, watching movies, hiking, and boogie boarding. I also love sports and have played basketball, football, rugby, and have previously trained in Muay Thai (Kickboxing). I love to cook and especially love the eating part, so food is high on my list of interests.

I am always thankful to work with children every day and believe that every child is capable of greatness through nourishing their self-confidence. I am a big believer that a village raises a child, which is why my classroom is a family created to support, connect, and share positivity with students and guardians.

Kelemahan terbesarmu adalah ketika kamu menyerah dan kehebatan terbesarmu adalah ketika kamu mencoba sekali lagi.

Your biggest weakness is when you give up and your greatest power is when you try one more time.

Ko te pae tawhiti whāia kia tata, ko te pae tata whakamaua kia tīna.

Seek out distant horizons, and cherish those you attain.
