It was a great pleasure to be able to join one of the ‘Walking School Buses’ on their morning walk to school, this Wednesday. The children loved the fact that Mr Incredible also joined us. It was a wonderful walk through Cornwall Park and on arrival the children were treated to Milo and cookies in the staffroom, along with all our children from all the other Walking School Buses. Parents were thanked by school and Delia (representing Travelwise -Auckland Council), for their wonderful effort in ensuring the option to walk to school is viable for more children.
Thanks to all our WSB parent helpers as well as Vicki Brooke for all her hard work reviving this wonderful initiative.
