Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.
Recently, we had the follwing group of children compete in the MENZA National Annual Songwriting Competition- ‘Hooklineandsingalong’
Sascha W- Rm20, Ritisha S- Rm20; Khushi V- Rm 15, and
Aanya D , Jacob H, Grace S, Aisha S-W, Anya T, Yasmina B and Lauren C- all in Rm28.
They all worked incredibly hard, and I’m very proud to announce that Sascha W   Rm 20, was awarded third place in the junior section of the competition.
This was an amazing achievement, especially when first and second place went to Intermediate students.  Well done Sascha!
Ritisha S and Khushi V also received a randomly selected prize of $100 voucher from Musicworks.  Well done to all of you, as I know you all put in a lot of effort, and wrote very diverse sounding songs, all on the theme of Aotearoa. Finally a special thank you to Mrs Werry who assisted the children with this opportunity.
