Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

The Year 6 children competed in the school speech competition on Monday.  The standard was extremely high and the eventual winner was Maskil Rm 27 with a great speech on ‘Why Teachers Should Get Paid More’.  At this point I do need to stress that the judges were not all teachers. Maskil represented our school at the Lions competition on Tuesday night (won by a St Kents boy) and Maskil will also represent us at the Remuera Speech Zones in Term 4.

Sophia Rm 10 came second and Pranvi and Kayla Rm 28 came third equal.

Well done to all the children who took part.
