On Tuesday 3rd September Cornwall Park District School held its Mandarin Language Speech Competition. This was open to all Year 5 and Year 6 native speakers. This year we had 7 participants who worked extremely hard and made us very proud. They delivered their speeches with confidence and flair.
Our independent judge from the Confucius Institute awarded the placings as follows:
1st- Rachel G
2nd -Rebecca Z
3rd= Rita L and Olivia P
Rachel will now go on to represent our school in the finals at Meadowbank Primary School on Tuesday 10th September, 9.15 – 10.30 at Meadowbank School Hall, 68 Waiatarua Road, Remuera. We wish her the best of luck.
