Last night, our delightful New Entrant/ Year 1 children presented a number of items to parents and extended family based on activities they do during a school day. As expected for this age group the performances were full of enthusiasm and unexpected cameos. The children did an amazing job of learning a variety of songs as well as some sign language and items with lots of actions. As I said last night to the audience; it takes a special breed to teach and an extra special breed to teach New Entrants. Our Kowhai teachers and teacher aides are very dedicated and full of energy ensuring our youngest children get a great start at school and the performance last night was testament to that.
