After relieving at CPDS for the past couple of years, I’m very excited to now be taking on a full-time position.
I have a psychology degree and diplomas in design and education. I worked as a designer and photographer before moving into communications. It was when I taught English in Tokyo that I discovered my love of teaching.
I have a passion for early literacy and am fascinated by the process of how a child learns to read.
In the classroom, I ensure that each child feels valued and supported by adapting to student interests and needs while fostering a culture of mutual respect.
I live in Mt Albert with my two daughters (10 and 12 years old) and our two spoiled rotten cats. As a family, we enjoy walks in our local neighbourhood, going on road trips and chatting round the dinner table. In my downtime, I like catching up with friends and family, cooking new recipes, doing a bit of DIY and getting lost in a good book.
