Thank you so much for all your cooperation today, as we fine tune our systems. Our children seemed to be very settled and eager to be back at school.
Our early drop off routine worked really well and we will not be changing it moving forward. However, we have many more parents turn up at the afternoon pick up time. Therefore, we will allow anyone from tomorrow to enter from 2.30pm, without having to fill in the online form like you did today, as long as you can show the check-in screen on your phone at the gate. I do ask you all, however, to please leave our school site quickly after picking your child up, as no playgrounds are available for use after a child has been picked up. It would be very helpful also if you can ensure your child knows which gate to go to at 3pm, if you are not coming onsite.
I also ask parents who are waiting for the 3pm pickup to please not come early and wait, unless you walk, as you are using up valuable parking spaces close to our school, or in the tennis court car park, that other parents need to use and we can become grid-locked very quickly.
The aim is for parents to turn up, pick up and leave within a short period of time.
