Dear Parents and Caregivers
Below is quite lengthy, but it is extremely important information that you will need to know before coming to school on Monday and during Level 2.
- The drink fountains will not be accessible so please ensure your child has a drink bottle
- All doors except for privacy are to be hooked back, so please ensure your child has their school fleece etc. Rooms will still be kept at a recommended temperature between 18 and 20 degrees celcius.
- Parents are expected to maintain 2m metre social distancing outside, while on our school grounds. As adults we are responsible for maintaining our own social distancing, around other adults and other people’s children.
- The office will only be open to parents for essential business that can not be conducted via email or phone. Please observe the social distancing markers on the ground if you need to come to the office.
- Parent meetings will be conducted by zoom rather than face to face.
Morning Drop Off Procedures
- Our school grounds will only be open to children from 8.20am each school day. If you need to drop your child to school earlier than that you will need to organise ‘Before School Care’ for them. - Our pedestrian gates on Wheturangi and the two pedestrian gates by the ‘Tennis Court’ car park will be opened at 8.20am and will be open until 9.15am each school morning. We ask if there are people waiting outside the gates to please enforce 2m social distancing. Children without parents may make their way in and sanitise their hands on entry.
- Adults who wish to enter our site for drop offs MUST use the ‘COVID-19 Check-in’ facility (on our school APP) Click here for instructions for set-up. In the box labelled reason please write all building you will enter within the school. e.g To Rooms 6 and 12 to drop off Bob and Sally
- Once your details are entered and you have received a confirmation message, you will need to show this to the staff member who will be stationed at the gates, before you will be allowed to enter. On entry please sanitise hands using the dispensers provided by the gates. Staff will direct you.
- We do not want parents gathering on the school site, so please drop off your child (taking the time to settle if required) and then please exit the school grounds ASAP.
- On exiting the school grounds please check out on the APP
NB: At this stage NO adults will be allowed onsite without the confirmation. To assist we will have extra staff at tables to assist (on the outside of gates on Monday).
During the Day
- Parents/ visitors who have essential business onsite e.g. picking children up early/ picking up sick children/ couriers etc, will need to ring the office (number will be displayed). The office will then automatically buzz you in (gates will open). Please ensure the gate closes behind you and sanitise hands using the dispensers provided by the gates. Make your way immediately to the office, where details will be taken.
- To leave our school, please push the button by the video camera to contact the office and they will automatically buzz you out (gates will open). Please ensure the gate closes behind you.
Drop Off
- Gates will be open between 2.30pm to 3.15pm. Please fill in the form that will be sent out each morning to indicate what time you will be picking your child up in the afternoon 2.30pm, 2.45pm or 3pm. If we do not hear from you, your child will be released at 3pm. All children without parents will only be released at 3pm. Please follow the same process as drop off and then make your way to the class, wait outside and your children will be released to you once the teacher sights you. Then please leave the school immediately allowing others to use vacated parking spaces etc for the next pick up slot. NO adults will be allowed onsite without the confirmation. Please do not gather onsite after collecting your child.
- Gates will be locked down again just after 3.15pm
NB.: No child will be released before 3pm to meet you offsite.
No drive pass pick up system will be operating in the tennis court carpark during this time. All parents must park (no double parking etc) and collect their children from their class up to 3pm and from outside the gate after 3pm.
No one is to stay and play on playgrounds with or without parents. All children to be picked up by 3.15pm. Any children not picked up will need to go to after school care after 3.15pm.
Uniform
We understand that some parents may have had difficulty securing shoes etc during lockdown. Correct uniform is still expected, however, if your child needs a uniform exemption for a short period of time please email your child’s teacher.
We are aware these are strict rules at the moment, however, we are committed to keeping our site safe for your children and to help ease any anxiety any parents may have about their children returning to school.

早上送孩子程序

下午接孩子时

- 下午 3.15 过后，学校所有出入口铁门将再度上锁。
请注意：下午3点之前不会释放任何孩子与您在校园以外的地方见面。
在此期间，网球场停车场将不会有人指挥管理交通。所有父母必须停好车（禁止挡住其他车辆，佔用车道等），进入接孩子必须在下午3点之前，下午3点后必须在校外等孩子。
没有人可以留在学校或者游乐场，操场上玩，不论父母有没有在身边。
3.15之前必须接走孩子。任何未被接走的孩子都会被直接送去看护中心。
制服
我们明白，有些父母在封锁期间可能买不到鞋子等。我们仍然希望孩子们穿着正确的校服，但是，如果您的孩子需要一点时间准备，并且希望获得短暂校服豁免，请给您的孩子的班主任发送电子邮件。
我们知道目前这是严格的规定，但是，我们致力于确保我们校园和您的孩子的安全，并帮助减轻任何父母对孩子重返校园的忧虑。
