新年快乐

Happy Chinese New Year and welcome to the Year of the Pig!

On Friday 8 February from 6-8.30pm, Chinese New Year will be celebrated locally in Remuera.

Remuera’s Chinese New Year celebration will be held at the top of St Vincent Avenue, by Remuera Library at 429 Remuera Road and this is very much a family orientated towards the family, as they will have activities like lantern making, Chinese cultural performances, the traditional Chinese art of Bian Lian or ‘face changing’, dragon stiltwalkers, kung fu demonstrations, and a range of Asian food stalls.

We have been informed that Samuel C (Rm 25) is one of the winners of the School Lantern Competition.  Well done Samuel; we are proud of you.  His prize will be presented at this event also.
