The Leadership Team, would like to apologise for not communicating to our community prior to Flag Day, that we had changed our procedure of notifying families if their child was to receive an award.
Our ultimate aim is to make Flag Day, a ceremony that families want to come to, regardless of whether their child is receiving an award or not, and in 2019, we will look to talk with our community on how we can achieve that moving forward.
Again, we apologise to those families who missed this event. Even though we are unable to rerun Friday, we are happy to re-present awards on Thursday, at our Blues and Graduation Award Ceremony at 9.30am, to children who had no family attend on Friday. If you would like us to re-present your child’s award, please send their award back to school no later than Wednesday morning.
