I am very pleased to announce that we have appointed Mr Shanthan Naidu as our new Associate Principal, starting at the beginning of Term 1, 2018. Shanthan is a very skilled and experienced educator and we are very pleased to have him joining our team. He has been in a number of teaching and leadership positions over the past 15 years both in Auckland & the Hawkes Bay and this year, he decided to take a break from the school environment and was appointed as Director of Education at A & E International, who specialise in online education. In this role he was designing S.T.E.A.M (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) courses and scheduling international online classes between schools in Auckland & China. Many of our staff already know Shanthan, as he has been part of many educational initiatives that have involved CPDS over the past few years and I know he is definitely looking forward to working with the staff, students and community at our wonderful school next year.
