I am very excited to continue with Year 2’s this year in Room 6. Previous to working at the school I have been part of the parent community and am an ex-CPDS pupil myself. I have been teaching for a number of years at a variety of year levels and in different roles across Auckland.
I have two tamariki of my own, who attend CPDS. I am enthusiastic about Growth Mindset and love helping students to find their own natural abilities and develop and foster a love for learning. I also have a passion for learning through play and strive to involve hands-on aspects to my teaching every day.
In my spare time you can often find me exploring new parks and playgrounds with my kids or swimming, otherwise I love to be curled up with a good book.
