A huge thank you to all our children who donated money today to help families in Christchurch. Their contributions formed a lovely ‘peace dove’ created for us by Kate Ginders. I think you will agree that it looks ‘amazing’. I am also pleased to announce that we collected the grand total of $1141.60. We will be sending this down to Christchurch, along with our visual message of ‘Aroha’. This afternoon, we will be starting our assembly a little early, so we can observe the national two minutes of silence. We have a child who wants to share a piece she has written and then we will sing ‘Te Aroha’ together before starting our normal assembly.
