Siyanqi Primary School, Ningbo
Our visitors from Siyanqi Primary school head back to China today. They had a wonderful week at our school, involving themselves in all activities that were planned. Our CPDS learners, really enjoyed their time with our sister school students. Learners from both NZ and Chinese communities, displayed global citizenship, which encourages us to recognise our responsibilities towards each other, and learn from each other. This was very evident over the past week, whether learning took place in the classroom or the sports field. The martial arts performance at graduation assembly for our sister school definitely got everyone’s attention. We wish our visitors all the best for the future and safe travels back to China. A very big thank you to Ushanthi and Marcus for organising the week, Janet for making our visitors special, and creating special little gift packs, and the teaching & staff for their willingness to lending a helping hand when called upon.
