As the netball season is fast approaching, we are calling for registrations for Year 3/4 netball teams. This competition format has changed dramatically and will follow the new ‘Junior Netball Programme’ being introduced by Netball NZ.
Fees: Player registration will only be accepted with payment of the 2021 netball fees. These are not optional. Team fees are payable at the beginning of the season and will include umpire costs and drycleaning.
Registrations for Netball are now open through your Kindo account. In order to register for Netball select Junior Netball Yr 3-4 from the ‘Sport’ title to put into your cart, answer the compulsory questions regarding fair play and to volunteer as a coach or manager, then proceed to make payment. Kindo offers 2 fee free methods to make your payment: POLi and Internet Banking. If you do not have funds currently available in your Kindo account we encourage you to pay using the POLi method which is an immediate transaction. Internet banking payments through Kindo require a minimum of 2 days processing time. As spaces are limited, in order to secure your team membership please register and pay promptly.
Registration fee of $85.00 is payable by midnight Wednesday 17th of March 2021.

Thursday Windmill Road Junior Netball Programme
- 15 minute skill session followed by a game of 3x 10 minute periods
- 5 a side (Maximum of 8 players per team)
- Played across 2/3 of a netball court
- Play with a size 4 ball
- goal post 2.6m
- Game times: 4:00pm | 4:55pm | 5:50pm and 6.45pm on Thursday Afternoons
This is an extension of the Auckland Netball Competition and takes place at the Windmill Road Netball Courts on Thursday afternoons after school. This competition is open to boys and girls with a maximum of three boys from a team on the court at any one time. Game times are 4.00 pm, 4.55 pm, 5.50 pm and 6.45 pm and the weekly game time for your team will vary from week to week. Games begin 20th May with the final day of play on 2nd September.
These dates may be subject to change should COVID-19 or similar occur with gathering limitations being enforced. Please be aware that game days of some grades may need to change.
Teams will only be entered that have a designated ‘Parent Helper’. This person (now called a ‘Star Helper’) will run the skills session and will coach/umpire the game along with the ‘Star Helper’ from the opposing team.
