Dear Parents and Caregivers
Today’s announcement stated that there will be a four week ‘holiday’ before we may move into on-line learning. This gives teachers time to prepare. If this changes we will of course meet what ever requirements are made of us.
To allieviate some potential boredom during this family-isolation time, I have supplied some links and ideas below to help parents. Thanks to the teachers who assisted with putting these ideas together.

Learning through Play:
Create a treasure map of hidden things around your house with X marking the spot.
Create a toy puppet out of an old sock, add some eyes, hair using things around the house.
Turn on some music and create a dance! Share this with your family members in a mini show
Write 10 key words from around your house, then make them with playdough
PLAYDOUGH RECIPE
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 cup salt
- 2 tablespoons cream of tartar
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 teaspoon food colouring
Mix all dry ingredients first, then add oil and boiling water with food colouring, mix well.
Store in an airtight container.
