We had a wonderful powhiri this morning, welcoming our new students, families & teachers into the CPDS community. Once again, our students were outstanding in the way in which they performed and spoke at the powhiri. I also managed to visit a number of classes today, students were definitely engaged, motivated and ready to learn. It was pleasing to see our learners start the term in a positive manner!
Second hand Uniform Sale
There will be another sale on 1 August at 8.15am in the school staffroom. If you have any pre-loved uniform that you no longer need we are always very appreciative of all donations. Please put in a bag labelled uniform sale and drop into the school office.
Property Update – Pohutukawa Tree – Green Lane West Boundary
Part of the old Pohutukawa Tree will be removed on Friday & Saturday of this week. This removal has been certified by the council and will ensure the safety of our schooling community. The area around the tree will be cordoned off on Friday, the zone behind Rooms 17, 19 and Music room will also be out of bounds.
