This week has been a busy one, starting in the weekend, when our Y3/4 Flippaball Team -Taniwha’s came first in their league, and the Y5/6 Snappers came second. We are proud of all of you, as well as the other children who competed well but did not manage to win their games. A special thank you to all our coaches and managers. We could not do it without you.

Rimu Team Production
On Monday night, we were treated to a wonderful performance from Rimu Team. I was really impressed by their wonderful singing, as well as the dances that each class performed showcasing some of the cultures in our school. This performance was closely related to work being done in class. Thank you to all the Rimu Teachers, as well as the parents who came in to help with specific cultural dances.

Performing Arts Performance
On Tuesday night, we again were treated to a wonderful performance that included items from all our individual choirs, as well as a large combined choir, the orchestra, the ensemble, the Junior and Senior dance groups and the Indian dance Group. It highlighted the large number of children who are involved in a number of different groups on offer in the school. I would like to thank Francine, Linda, Hannah, Cailtin and Vishaka for working with these different groups so far in 2018.
