Last week, I notified you all that we would have a lock down practice at some stage this week.
This was done today and teachers talked to children afterwards about how practicing this procedure may keep us safe in the future in the same way we do fire practices etc. Teachers then answered any pressing questions raised by children ensuring that they alleviated any worries the children may have had.
We know some children may still believe something happened today even though it was only a practice, so it may be helpful just to raise the topic with them so you can put any worries they still may have to rest.
