Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

A massive thank you to our school community for getting behind the 2018 Watties Cans For Good initiative here at Cornwall Park District School. Each year, The Salvation Army supports thousands of kiwi families by providing food parcels in times of need. These cans go to restock our local foodbanks in the lead up to Christmas.

This year, we were fortunate enough to participate for the first time. Across the school, our teams used their collected cans to create a series of interesting and engaging designs that showcased our creative flair. The Kowhai Team even developed an incredible maze using their cans, and utilised our school Sphero to complete this maze. From koru, hearts and even the Eiffel Towel, our learners projects did us proud.

A huge thanks to all our students and staff at CPDS. Here’s to an exciting event again next year!
