Dear Parents,
Enrolments for Year 3-6 Term 1 Instrumental Music lessons are currently available via your school Kindo account. There are 7 half hour group lessons scheduled for Term 1 at a cost of $119 for the term. To enrol and pay for lessons please login to your Kindo account, select Instrumental Music Lessons and then click on the instrument required. Enrolments close this coming Friday 12th February.
Tuition is available as follows:
Year 3-6: Recorder, Keyboard, Drums, Violin
Year 4-6: Guitar
A tutor for Flute, Trumpet, Clarinet and Saxophone will only be appointed if we have sufficient interest. Students need to have completed at least 1 year of music tuition before beginning lessons on any of the following:
Year 4-6: Flute, Trumpet, Clarinet
Year 5-6: Saxophone
If interested in one of these four instruments please contact Linda Yu at lyu@cpds.school.nz. (NB The decision to appoint a tutor will be made on 14th February. Please be aware that lessons will only begin once a suitable tutor has been found).

Please note that it is only on rare occasions, with students fulfilling specific criteria and conditions, that students are given approval to learn two instruments at school. Generally it is recommended, due to the commitment required to learn an instrument and time out of class, that students choose one instrument to learn.
Lesson days and times will be confirmed at the beginning of the coming week with lessons set to start later in the same week.
