Auckland Netball is known for providing netball participation, promoting healthy active lifestyles and being a quality sporting, recreation, and business hub for the wider community with over 600,000 people passing through its gates.
Kokkino Café, Catering and Events is our on-site café and event facilities arm of Auckland Netball Centre situated in St Johns, only 10 minutes from the city centre.
We are looking for an enthusiastic person to fill a vacant role and join our team with the following attributes:
- Be confident, willing to go the extra mile as you will be working with both small meetings and large events up to 1000 people
- Working with a variety of clients from sporting organisations to the private sector
- A detailed focused person who understands the event process from the proposal stage through to successful delivery and beyond
- Positive attitude, and an ability to build rapport, grow and maintain strong client relationships
- Be able to work within budgets and attain targets set
- Excellent communication and computer skills are a must.
This is a busy sport and event facility, requiring flexibility in hours worked i.e. some weekends and evenings will be required. We already have a high level of event bookings for 2025 and looking for the ideal applicant who can grab this exciting opportunity to contribute to Auckland Netball’s vision of delivering the “ultimate experience for all”.
