Kia Orana, my name is Rouru, and I am proud to share both Cook Island and NZ European heritage. Raised in the heart of South Auckland, my journey into education started right at home—babysitting my nieces and nephews and volunteering in the kids’ ministry at my local church. Those early moments sparked a deep passion for nurturing young minds, which led me to earn my degree in Pasifika Early Childhood Education. I believe learning should be vibrant, joyful, and deeply connected to who we are. Outside of teaching, I love spending quality time with my friends and family, listening to music, dance and a lot of hands-on crafts. I am so excited to partner with you and your children to build a warm, supportive learning community!
