Kia ora e te whānau,
This is my first year at Cornwall Park District School and I am excited to be working with the curious, creative and lively Year 5-6 age group. Prior to starting at CPDS I taught in Pōneke at Dyer Street School and Kelburn Normal School, in the Year 1-2 and Year 7-8 age groups.
I love empowering students to find their own unique way of learning and to discover new ideas, opinions and opportunities. My background is in The Arts and I enjoy finding ways to bring creativity into the classroom – in particular through drama, music and visual art.
I am a violinist and have played in many community and professional orchestras both in New Zealand and overseas. I love the outdoors and enjoy spending time tramping, cycling or swimming in the ocean. I also recently trained as a yoga teacher, so you might spot me in some of the yoga studios here in Auckland!
