My name is Claudia Gray, and I’m very excited to be joining the Cornwall Park District School community! I grew up in Christchurch and completed my Master of Teaching and Learning (Primary) at Victoria University of Wellington before moving to Auckland, where I’ve been teaching for the past seven years.
I’m passionate about creating a classroom where every child feels safe, valued, and free to be themselves. When tamariki know they belong, they’re more confident to take risks, try new things, and grow as learners. I believe every child has unique strengths, and I’m here to help them discover those, build a love for learning, and feel proud of who they are. I hold high expectations for all learners, and I’ll be there to support and encourage them every step of the wayIn our classroom we’ll work together as a team, support one another, and have lots of fun while we learn. I can’t wait to see all the exciting things we’ll do in Term 3 and 4!
