Instrumental Music Lessons
Cornwall Park School is fortunate to have the expertise of experienced Music Specialists available for Instrumental Lessons on a user pays basis for students from Year 3 to 6. Lessons take place during class time in small groups with pupils taken out of class at a time that minimises disruption to both teacher and pupil.
Tuition is available as follows:
Year 3-6: Recorder, Keyboard, Drums, Violin
Year 4-6: Guitar
A tutor for Flute, Trumpet, Clarinet and Saxophone will only be appointed if we have sufficient interest.
Students need to have completed at least 1 year of music tuition before beginning lessons on any of the following:
Year 4-6: Flute, Trumpet, Clarinet
Year 5-6: Saxophone
Please note: There are usually 8 x ½ hour lessons per term at a cost of $17 per lesson(GST inclusive). Enrolments and payments are made at the start of each year via school Kindo accounts. Students wanting to enrol for lessons later in the year are initially placed on a waiting list with lessons commencing as soon as a suitable space becomes available.
Fees are payable on a term by term basis and are to be paid prior to the start of lessons each term. Payment through Kindo is the preferred method of payment however in certain situations payment can also be made at the school office.
