This term has been an interesting and challenging one and has it felt a lot…
As the end of year draws to a close, I want to update you regarding a few teachers who will be leaving us, next week.
Clemie has been a regular reliever at CPDS for a number of years now, covering the e-learning release each week. Clemie is a very talented lady and has been a wonderful Te Reo resource for us, during her time here. Clemie has decided to stop relieving teaching and focus more on other aspects of her life at this time. I would like to thank Clemie and wish her all the best for the future.
Chloe started with us as a beginning teacher in 2017, and during her time here we have seen her grow professionally, as well as us seeing her family grow, with the addition of Rain. Chloe has decided it is now time to spread her wings and move on to a different school so she can continue to develop as a teacher. Chloe starts at Mangere Central next year, and even though we are sad to lose her, we know her professional growth is extremely important for her. All the best for the next step along your teaching journey Chloe.
Fiona has been an important part of the CPDS staff for a number of years (since 2008 in fact). Fiona has been working in a part time capacity during that time, even though I have continually tried to persuade her each year, to teach full time. Fiona has been a ‘Literacy Leader’ in our school and her expertise and support in this area will be greatly missed. Fiona, has been on long term leave since Term 3 this year, and she has now made the decision to tender her resignation, so she can focus on what is the most important thing at the moment- her family. We are forever hopeful that Fiona will choose to rejoin us again in the future when the time is right. We wish Fiona all the best and thank her for all she has done for our staff, children and community.
