Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

It was with great pleasure that myself and Carmen Burns were able to attend the Lions’ Citizenship Awards last night at Dilworth Junior Campus.  We were there to support our two wonderful Y6 pupils Vai F (Rm 17) and Oliver S (Rm 27) who were the very deserving recipients of this award this year.

The qualities that the Lions Club are looking for include Loyalty, Honesty, Determination, Courtesy, Friendly and Helpful, and they definitely resonate in these two children.

The evening was made even better when we saw two ex pupils also receiving prizes for their respective Intermediate schools.  Emily Hill was chosen by Remuera Intermediate and Amelia Duff was chosen by St Kentigern Girls’ School.  It was a proud night indeed for CPDS.  Congratulations to these wonderful children for being such great roles for CPDS and beyond.

Kind regards
