On behalf of all the CPDS staff, I would like to wish you all a lovely Matariki for 2020, starting on July 13, and all the best for the year that follows. If you would like to find out some special ways your family could celebrate Matariki this year during the holidays you can click here.
Due to the combination of Matariki falling in the holidays as well as other factors relating to this rather unusual year, we will not be celebrating with a ‘Community Dawn Ceremony’, this year. Instead, we will celebrate Matariki during Week 1 of Term 3. On Friday 24th July we will be sharing a special presentation of our school celebrating Matariki.
We welcome any photos (in jpeg format) or videos (15 seconds maximum) of your whānau celebrating Matariki to add to our “virtual ceremony.”
