Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

Yesterday I had the privilege of joining in a tree planting ceremony at Cornwall Park.

It was organized by Ted Wilson, a past pupil of our school.

Ted joined CPDS in 1933, at the age of six and has joined us in many school events over the years.

Yesterday it was our turn to join him, in planting 3 white flowering pohutakawa above the “Grotto” in the Park.

Three current students and their mothers (who are also past pupils) helped with the planting.
