Kia Toa – Resilience
New Show by Bernard Mangakahia
Earlier this year our students attended Bhangra Beats and we are fortunate to have Bernard available to present another show at CPDS this year. The new show links perfectly to our CPDS value of ‘perseverance’ and our Self-Managing Disposition, with its focus on resilience.
Bernard’s new show Kia Toa is based on his own experiences and the lessons learnt from two very important members of his family.
Students will be captivated by Bernard’s stories and dances that encourage them to be courageous and overcome challenges and adversity.
