Last week, over 80 people from the Auckland Central Kāhui Ako (our Community of Schools) attended a professional development session at Newmarket school, where Janine was one of the two presenters. It was an opportunity for interested teachers to hear about her research from her sabbatical last year into ‘Flexible and Mixed Ability Grouping’. The response from the audience was really positive and many of those attending found the ideas she presented professionally challenging and stimulating. Those of us from CPDS who were able to attend were very proud of Janine, and we wanted to share with our community how impressed others were by both her delivery and her ideas. Kia Kaha Janine.
