The Year 5 group put on an amazing ‘Trip down Memory Lane’ for us on Wednesday night with the children performing many iconic dances including ‘ Time Warp’, ‘Staying Alive’, and ‘YMCA’ to mention just a few. The entire show was very impressive with so many different dance moves being performed and it was clear to see how much fun the children were having throughout. I did say after experiencing a performance like that, we could rename the school ‘CPDS- The School of Groove’.
I would like to thank the teachers involved for the great job they did organising and practicing all the dances with their children, as it resulted in a very slick performance. I would also like to extend a special thank you to Jude, and Nicola (Ms Hooper’s sister) for their wonderful sewing of costumes which lifted the show to another level.
