Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

What a wonderful day we have all had today.  It is great to see the staff and so many children come to school in Indian dress. At CPDS, we are so lucky to have such a supportive and involved Indian community and I would like to give sincere thanks to all all the wonderful parents and grandparents who came long today to help us gain a deeper understanding of the Indian culture.  I would like to especially thank the Diwali Committee, whose hard work leading up to today, resulted in it being such a success.  Thanks also to Dev, Swati, Reena and Serena who have been actively involved in organising today. The whole school came together to share this afternoon and it was a wonderful feast of colours, music and dance.  We will have more photos rolling on the TV screen in the office.
