Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

My relationship with CPDS started in 2003 when my son Lewis started here followed by Cerys in 2005. As a parent I involved myself in school life including the Fair, the library, coaching a hockey team, helping at Waterwise and assisting in classrooms with reading and spelling programmes. I joined the CPDS Learning Support Team in 2007 and found great satisfaction working with all children, particularly those who are challenged with special needs, and supporting them to achieve their full potential. I am passionate about children’s literature and assist in the library as well as helping the Librarian with Kids Lit competitions and Book Week. I became a Waterwise instructor in 2014 and assist with the school’s Waterwise program.
