Whakapau kaha – to be better than before.

It was the final performance of the 2018 Year 6 Production ‘Kidsummer Night’s Dream’ last night, and what a wonderful show it was.  For the past two nights, the children have wowed us with their stage presence and the quality of their individual and collective performances.  We have so much talent at this school and this was definitely evident.  The singing, dancing and orchestra were fantastic and the characterisations were outstanding; with some on-point comedic timing also.

I am sure we will see some of our students on the stage again in the future.

I want to acknowledge the children also who may not have been on stage, but whose efforts with props, lighting and sound helped make the production the success it was.  I also want to thank Colleen and her team, Adele, Jane, and Andrew, as well as Carmen for their hard work, resulting in such a successful show.  I want to also give special mention to Amanda Stoddard, Cara Perumalla and Julia MacArthur for all their assistance with this production.

Well done to all of you!!!  I was so impressed and proud of you all.
